In November 2008 the Village Montessori Nursery received its first Accreditation awarded by the Montessori Evaluation and Accreditation Board and has been re-accredited several times since then. 

In December 2022 the nursery was accredited under Phase 1 of the STAR Montessori Accreditation scheme.  The Village Montessori retained its STAR accreditation from Montessori Global Education in August 2025.  STAR recognition provides a straightforward way of demonstrating to parents, the wider community, regulatory bodies and inspection services that our setting is committed to on-going quality provision, self-evaluation and quality improvement.  STAR demonstrates our commitment to offering children the highest possible standards of education, respect, attention and care.  Accreditation is awarded to settings that trust and respect a child’s need to learn through freedom of choice and, true to the Montessori philosophy, we offer a prepared learning environment that supports a child’s natural path of development and acknowledges each child’s individuality.
